Upcoming Cycle rides with Central London Outdoor Group (CLOG) are shown by the bicycle symbol (and other symbols are used for walks and other types of events)

Only events with this symbol are cycle rides.

Please carry a spare inner tube on cycle rides in case of punctures. These rides are aimed at adults rather than families.

Non-CLOG members can come up to 3 cycle rides or other events to try us out before joining

We have one or two cycle rides in the  countryside nearly every week between March and October, ranging from 20 to 35 miles. These are easily accessible by public transport from London and are on quiet roads or cycle paths, great for beginners and more experienced cyclists who enjoy finding places they never knew existed rather than lots of tarmac.

By bike we explore rivers, canals, forts, castles, coast, marshes, gardens, woods, ruins, sea walls, churches, mansions, cycle-ferries, churchyards, villages, lost railways....

We usually have lunch in a nice pub and either morning or afternoon tea if there is a suitable cafe.

NB Central London Outdoor Group is non-commercial and events are organised by other members of the club on a voluntary basis.  All participants should make themselves aware of the risks inherent in walking, cycling and other outdoor activities and take responsibility for their own actions and choices of activity.
