We have one or two cycle rides in the  countryside nearly every week between March and October, ranging from 20 to 35 miles. These are easily accessible by public transport from London and are on quiet roads or cycle paths, great for beginners and more experienced cyclists who enjoy finding places they never knew existed rather than seeing lots of tarmac. We usually have lunch in a nice pub and either morning or afternoon tea if there is a suitable cafe.

Cycle rides, walks and other clog events are aimed at adults rather than families.

By bike we explore rivers, canals, forts, castles, coast, marshes, gardens, woods, ruins, sea walls, churches, mansions, cycle-ferries, churchyards, villages, lost railways.... Photos from past cycle rides and walks.

We also have several cycling trips abroad each year on routes in countries such as Holland, Belgium, Denmark Germany and Austria.  Photos from our August 2017 Denmark Islands cycling adventure and our May 2017 Historic cities Holland and Belgium cycling trip can be found here and here respectively.
